Blow Out Hair Studio to host Lara Summers in a Solo Art Show.

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an art exhibit by Jacksonville, FL artist Lara Summers. The show will begin on September 12, 2008 and will run into January 2009. The opening reception will be at Blow Out Hair Studio on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 6:30 pm, and is open for all to attend.

About the Artist:
Lara Summer's work is almost exclusively figure work, and predominately the female form. She uses a multi-layered process incorporating both drawing and painting using mulitple layers of glaze. Lara received her B.F.A from the University of Central Florida, and has been featured in Ology and Movement Magazines. In 2008 She received an Excellence in Art grant from Liquitex Paints, and a spot in the Art in America 2008 gallery guide.
